| Revolving Hands-On Displays The center offers a number of preserved specimens and models that assist the docents in helping visitors learn about key animals in the local environment. Examples of the current collection include: mounted birds, such as the Barn Owl and the Brown Pelican; Elephant Seal and Spotted Dolphin skulls; baleen plates from the Gray Whale and the Humpback Whale; a full Sea Otter pelt. Also, the front of the Center is landscaped with an extensive collection of local native plants. |
